The paintings on this website are non-figurative (or abstract.).  I work experimentally with acrylic and water-born media on canvas, board, paper and glass. Colours are applied in layers within gridded and geometric frameworks.  I am interested in creating a connective logic with the colours that encourages visual empathy.

The paintings are selected from numbered series’ and presented in chronological order, from the most recent paintings to early series’ that mark the beginnings of my thinking about shaping colours.  Since 2001, some of the paintings represent a single theme.
